Abstract

Cloud computing has become an indispensable feature over the internet. Transmission of
applications especially multimedia is facing great challenges. Providing Quality of Service is
paramount to multimedia applications. This research presented an improved scheduling model
using Round-Robin techniques to allocate resources to cloud users. The model was simulated in
cloudsim, a simulation toolkit that enables modeling and simulation of cloud. The simulator was
tested with predicted size of videos that brokers can request and the result shows that cloudlet
was scheduled in circular queue depending on the tiME SLICE.
